The housing market for students is competitive and neither RSM nor Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) own or operate any student accommodations. Housing is therefore not guaranteed and is the responsibility of the student, but we provide assistance where possible.
To help you navigate and prepare for your search, we have compiled some useful tips below:
1. Start early
If you want to have a room by September, we would recommend to start your search by May so it's best to start orienting yourself in April.
2. Student housing
Accommodation on campus is limited, but especially for international students, there are a couple of opportunities. Check out the following options: ISHR and Xior (DON'T MISS THE REGISTRATION DEADLINES EARLY-MID MAY). Also check out the other housing options provided by EUR.
3. Private market
There are several websites that you can use to find housing on the private market, either with roommates or on your own but BEWARE OF SCAMS! We have compiled a list of the most common housing platforms here.
4. Current students
Our current student ambassadors have been in your shoes and can offer advice for finding housing, please feel free to ask about their experience on Unibuddy.
